Twin brother of Stefan Geier. Smaller forward who came out of the EV Zeltweg system.
Spent one season playing in Sweden but then played the majority of his career with Klagenfurt.
Austrian champion 2009 and 2013. Named captain of the team in 2016.
Suffered an inguinal hernia during summer training in June 2017. During medical examination he was diagnosed with a tumor.
Surgery was soon scheduled and he recovered. He revealed the disease in an open letter to KAC fans just before his comeback in November.

Frère jumeau de Stefan Geier. Petit attaquant (179 cm) formé au EV Zeltweg jusqu'à ses 19 ans.
Après une saison à Arboga au troisième niveau suédois (2007/08), il a passé sa carrière à Klagenfurt.
Champion d'Autriche 2009 et 2013. Nommé capitaine de l'équipe en 2016.
Victime d'une hernie discale durant l'entraînement estival en juin 2017. Les examens médicaux révélèrent alors une tumeur maligne.
Il eut ainsi la chance d'être opéré rapidement. Il l'a révélé dans une lettre ouverte aux supporters du KAC juste avant son retour au jeu fin novembre.
