Very agile goaltender. Calm and collected with good mental focus in games.
Some said that his reflexes were catlike, while others said that his biggest drawback was his rather slow reflexes.
By many regarded as the best goaltender in Slovenian ice hockey history. Invited to attend Boston Bruins training camp in 1968.
Played 17 minutes in a pre-season game against NY Rangers (2-4) and kept a clean sheet.
Played one year in EHL for Syracuse Blazers and Clinton Comets in 1968/69.
He was also the property of the Los Angeles Sharks of the WHA in 1972/73.
Had an offer for 200,000 marks playing for Cologne in Germany while he was abroad playing for his club Olimpija. When he arrived in Cologne a few days later the club had already signed two other foreigners and the deal never materialized.
Was a plumber by trade. Lived in Ljubljana.

Gardien très agile. Calme et concentré avec un bon mental dans les parties.
Certains disaient que ses réflexes étaient ceux d’un chat, alors que d’autres disent que son gros désavantage était ses réflexes plutôt lents.
Pour beaucoup, c’est le meilleur gardien de l’histoire du hockey slovène. A été invité à un camp d’entraînement par les Bruins de Boston en 1968.
A joué 17 minutes dans un match de pré-saison contre les Rangers de New York (2-4) et garde sa cage inviolée.
A joué un an en EHL (1968/69) pour les Blazers de Syracuse et les Comets de Clinton.
Il joua aussi pour les Sharks de Los Angeles de la WHA en 1972/73.
A eu une offre de 200 000 marks pour jouer à Cologne alors qu’il était en tournée avec son club Olimpija. Quand il est arrivé à Cologne, le club avait déjà signé deux étrangers et le deal ne se fait pas.
Plombier de formation. Vivait à Ljubljana.
