Thought about quitting hockey when Germany re-unified, but wanted to test himself in Budesliga with Dynamo.
Scored 302 points in 454 German league games. Represented East Germany 142 times (10+16).
Helped to re-establish ice hockey in Halle in 1999 and to move this club up until his retirement in 2005.
Competes in dancing contests with his wife: Brandenburg champion in his age category.
Lawyer with specialties in social law and construction law.

Huit fois champion d'Allemagne de l'Est avec le Dynamo Berlin.
Il a songé un temps à quitter le hockey à la réunification allemande, mais voulait tester la Bundesliga unifiée avec le Dynamo.
302 points en 454 matchs de championnat. 142 sélections pour l'Allemagne de l'Est (10 buts et 16 assists).
Il a aidé à réimplanter le hockey sur glace à Halle en 1999 et à faire monter ce club jusqu'à sa retraite en 2005.
Continue la compétition en participant à des concours de danse avec sa femme : champion du Brandebourg dans sa catégorie d'âge.
Avocat spécialisé dans le droit social et le droit de la construction.
