Played for Grüner from his junior years in the mid to late 1960s.
Then played for Hasle/Løren IL, Vålerenga IF, Sparta Sarpsborg and Trondheim IK. Retired in 1989.
Successful ice hockey coach after his retirement, winning championships with Vålerenga IF and Lillehammer IK.
First Norwegian coach in 18 years to manage the Norwegian national team in 1994.
Coached them in the 1995 and 1996 World Championships.
Passed away of natural causes while vacationing on the Island of Mallorca, Spain.

Il a porté les couleurs de Grüner en junior à partir du milieu des années 1960.
Il joua ensuite pour Hasle/Løren, Vålerenga, Sparta Sarpsborg et le Trondheim IK. Retraité en 1989.
Après sa carrière il fut un entraîneur à succès, champion avec Vålerenga et Lillehammer IK.
Premier Norvégien depuis 18 ans à prendre en charge la sélection nationale en 1994.
Il officia notamment à l'occasion des Mondiaux 1995 et 1996.
Mort de cause naturelle alors qu'il était en vacances sur l'île de Majorque, en Espagne.
