Used to play on the same line as his brother Emil on the national team.
Won seven league titles with CSKA Sofia in the 1960s and 1970s.
Coached the Bulgarian U-20 team between 1989-93 and in 1997, the U-18 and U-20 in 2000 and 2001.

Il a remporté sept titres de champion de Bulgarie avec le CSKA Sofia dans les années 1960 et 1970.
Sélectionneur des moins de 20 ans bulgares entre 1989 et 1993, puis en 1997. Il a entraîné à la fois les moins de 18 ans et les moins de 20 ans en 2000 et 2001.
