Grew up in a large family of nine children. Younger brother of Dominik Lomovšek.
Was raised in Polje, a suburb of Ljubljana. First played for HK Slavija (Ljubljana).
Looked up to his three brothers who played hockey, Dominik, Viktor and Franc.
Won several league titles. In 1986 he helped Partizan Beograd win its first league title in 31 years.
He was the top scorer in the league three times (1983, 1985 and 1986).
Retired in 1991 after having scored 713 points (376+337) in almost 500 league games.
Represented Yugoslavia 114 times, scoring 73 points (31+42).
Inducted into the Slovenian Hockey Hall of Fame.

A grandi dans une grande famille de neuf enfants. Petit frère de Dominik Lomovšek.
Il a grandi à Polje, dans la banlieue de Ljubljana. Il a commencé le hockey avec le HK Slavija (Ljubljana).
Trois de ses frères ont également joué au hockey, Dominik, Viktor et Franc.
Il remporta plusieurs titres. En 1986 il aida le Partizan Belgrade à remporter son premier titre depuis 31 ans.
Trois fois meilleur buteur du championnat (1983, 1985 et 1986).
Retraité en 1991 après avoir totalisé 713 points (376+337) en près de 500 matchs de championnat.
114 sélections en équipe de Yougoslavie, 73 points (31+42).
Intronisé au Hall of Fame du hokley slovène.
