Had a very successful college career, winning two Beanpot titles in 1959 and 1961.
Earned All-America honors in 1959 and was the MVP of the Beanpot that same year.
Served as a coach in the U.S. Olympic program between 1972 and 1976.
Went on to coach in College hockey and spent a total of 44 years coaching until 2013.
Logue was a member of coaching staffs that won nine Hockey East Tournament titles, six Hockey East regular-season championships, seven Beanpot titles and four national championships (2001, 2008, 2010 and 2012).
He was an assistant coach on teams that advanced to 10 NCAA Championship Frozen Fours and eight national championship games.

Il connut une glorieuse carrière universitaire, vainqueur de deux tournois Beanpot en 1959 et 1961.avec Boston College.
Élu meilleur gardien ex-aequo de l'Est en 1959 et meilleur joueur du tournoi Beanpot la même année.
Il fut l'un des entraîneurs du programme olympique américain entre 1972 et 1976.
Il devint coach en universitaire pendant 44 ans jusqu'en 2013 pour Merrimack College, Salem State College et Boston College.
Logue a participé comme assistant-coach à dix "Frozen Four" de la NCAA et à huit finales, remportant quatre championnats nationaux avec Boston College (2001, 2008, 2010 et 2012).
