Had an American-Austrian background. His parents were both born in Vienna.
Began playing ice hockey in 1935. Loved to play the game and known to always have sacrificed a lot in order to play.
Reliable and trustworthy type of person who always backed up his words.
Known for his elegance both on and off the ice, and appropriately carried the nickname “Le Prince” (The Prince).
Was also a good tennis player and was a member of the prestigious Royal Léopold Club in Brussels.
He worked as a Ford car salesman.
Liked to mingle with the society crowd in Brussels with a glass of champagne in his hand.
He married Countess Franziska Mayr von Melnhof (Mayr-Melnhof), Prinzessin Reuß zu Köstritz and was frequently seen around Belgian noble families.
He later divorced and married another Baroness. She was of French Chilean origin, and widow of South American millionaire Arturo Lopez.
She inherited beautiful estates in French Saint-Tropez and Kitzbühel, Austria.
There Percy spent a lot of his free time and moved to Kitzbühel in the mid 1950s.
Avid golfer in Kitzbühel and was the chairman of the local club between 1971-1974.

D'origine américano-autrichienne. Ses parents sont comme lui nés à Vienne.
Il commença le hockey en 1935. Il aimait tant ce sport jeu qu'il sacrifiait toujours beaucoup pour y jouer.
Personne fiable et de confiance qui tenait toujours sa parole.
Connu pour son élégance sur la glace et en dehors, ce qui lui valut le surnom "Le Prince".
Très bon joueur de tennis, membre du prestigieux Royal Léopold Club de Bruxelles.
Il était vendeur de voitures pour Ford.
Il aimait se montrer dans le Bruxelles chic un verre de champagne à la main.
Il épousa la comtesse Franziska Mayr von Melnhof (Mayr-Melnhof), Princesse de Courtrai, il était ainsi souvent vu au sein de la noblesse belge.
Après son divorce, il épousa une baronne. Elle était franco-chilienne, veuve du millionaire sud-américain Arturo Lopez.
Elle avait hérité de superbes propriétés à Saint-Tropez en France et à Kitzbühel en Autriche.
Percy y passa beaucoup de son temps libre jusqu'à déménager à Kitzbühel au milieu des années 1950.
Golfeur émérite dans cette ville, il fut président du club local entre 1971 et 1974.
