Played junior hockey in the Canadian QMAAA and QMJHL. Came to France in Méribel in 1983 and played two years in B league.
Then he joined Saint-Gervais and became French champion in 1987 with Mont-Blanc. Scored 159 goals in 131 French elite league games.
His last professional goal was a legendary overtime goal on a foggy ice in Rouen which enabled Amiens to qualify for his first final.
Afterwards he came back to Canada to write the song Hélène which became a huge hit for his friend singer Roch Voisine.
Retired from competitive hockey in 1989 but played senior hockey until the 2004/05 season.
In 2015 he went again to France and lived in Méribel where he coached the local woman team and recreative team.

Il a joué dans la ligue Midget AAA du Québec puis en junior majeur en LHJMQ.
Arrivé en France en 1983 à Méribel, où il joua deux saisons en Nationale B.
Il a ensuite rejoint Saint-Gervais. Champion de France 1987 avec Mont-Blanc. 159 buts en 131 matches de Nationale A.
Son dernier but professionnel est un but légendaire en prolongation dans le brouillard à Rouen qui a permis à Amiens de se qualifier pour sa première finale.
Il est alors rentré au Canada pour écrire la chanson Hélène devenue un énorme succès pour son ami chanteur Roch Voisine.
Retraité du hockey de compétition en 1989, il continua à jouer au hockey senior jusqu'à la saison 2004/05.
En 2015 il revenu en France, à Méribel, où il a entraîné l'équipe loisir locale et l'équipe féminine du HCMP.
