Offensively gifted defenseman. Often quarterbacking the powerplay.
Good shot from the point. Great skater in his prime. Average defensively and physically.
Never made it to the NHL and moved to Europe in 2010 where he became an All-Star.
He had a very successful stint in the KHL where he won two league titles (Gagarin Cup).
His son has Down syndrome and he couldn't bring him in Russia because there was no proper institution.
Announced his retirement on September 3, 2018.

Défenseur offensivement talentueux. Souvent métronome des supériorités numériques.
Bon lancer de la ligne bleue. Excellent patineur. Moyen défensivement et physiquement.
Il n'intégra jamais la NHL et partit en Europe en 2010 où il devint un joueur majeur.
Il connut un passage triomphal dans la KHL où il remporta deux championnats (Coupe Gagarine).
Son fils a la trisomie 21 et il n'a pas pu l'emmener en Russie faute d'institutions adaptées.
Il prit sa retraite le 3 septembre 2018.
