Brother of Antanas Kuzmickas. Probably the toughest Lithuanian pre-war player. Hit everything in sight and was often penalized.
Drafted into military service in 1931 and went to military school and trained as a pilot. Flew 414 hours in the war. In 1944 he joined the volunteers of homeland security. After the war in 1949 he moved to Dunedin in New Zealand where he also passed away. He left a wife, a daughter and son behind. He was also survived by his mother, brother Antanas and three sisters.

Joueur sans conteste le plus rude du "premier" hockey lituanien, celui de l'indépendance des années 30. Rentrait dans tout ce qui bouge, sauf quand il était en prison.
Militaire de carrière, il entre dans les rangs en 1931 et devient pilote. Volera 414 heures pendant la guerre. En 44, il rejoint les membres de l'armée de défense volontaire puis quitte son pays à 39 ans pour s'installer en Nouvelle-Zélande, où il s'éteindra. Il était marié, père d'une fille et d'un enfant. Sa mère, son frère Antanas et ses trois soeurs lui survécurent.
