One of the German ice hockey pioneers. Started by playing bandy for ASC Berlin in 1902/03. Noted as a fast skater who was good at counter attacks. Killed during WW I.
Inducted into the German Hockey Hall of Fame.

Pionnier du hockey sur glace allemand, il débute par le bandy avec l'ASC Berlin en 1902-1903. Resté dans les archives comme un bon patineur et redoutable contre-attaquant. Tué pendant la Grande guerre.
Introduit au Hall of Fame du hockey allemand.
