A typical centerman who was more of a playmaker than a finisher. A yellow chin protector was his trademark in the 1970s. His number 11 jersey was retired by Pelicans Lahti (Kiekko-Reipas) where he spent his entire playing career. Retired in 1986.

Centre de facture classique, distributeur de palets davantage que buteur. Dans les années 70, on le distinguait sur la glace grâce à une protection faciale jaune. A passé toute sa carrière au Kiekko-Reipas Lahti (1972-1986). Les Pelicans, qui ont pris la suite du Reipas, ont retiré sur numéro 11.
