Grew up idolizing Teemu Selänne. Versatile two-way forward with the ability to play on all three forward positions. Speedy player with a lot of energy and spunk. Strong at killing penalties, using his speed to his advantage. Fairly adept in the face-off dot. Only an average finisher. Good hands but not a feared shooter.
Thought Brenden Morrow and Aleksandr Ovechkin were the toughest competitors that he played against.
