A product of the EV Zug hockey school. He played for Zug until 2002. He then played for HC Ambrì Piotta between 2002 and 2006, and then changing to SC Bern. In 2009 he returned back to Ambrì where he played until 2015. After that he played for EHC Olten, EHC Winterthur and EHC Kloten. Played more than 1000 games in his career.

Formé à Zoug où il débute en seniors avant de filer à Ambrì-Piotta en 2002 et y rester jusqu'en 2006. Quitte alors la Valascia pour trois saisons au SC Berne (2006-2009) et retourne à Ambrì jusqu'en 2015. Âgé de 35 ans, il part alors poursuivre sa carrière en LNB, à Olten et Winterthour (plus une pige d'un match avec Kloten). Jouait toujours à l'approche de la quarantaine et avait déjà dépassé le millier de matches officiels.
