Goaltender with fast reflexes. Very competitive goaltender who hated to be scored on, either in practices or games. Thrived under heavy workload in games. Was an official LIHG referee.
Inducted into the German Hockey Hall of Fame.

Gardien aux réflexes véloces et très mauvais perdant. Se mettait en rogne dès qu'il encaissait un but, même pendant les entraînements. Il excellait dans les rencontres où il était le plus exposé. Devenu arbitre de la LIHG.
Introduit au Hall of Fame du hockey allemand.
