Excellent tactician who had good feeling for the game. Was also a good skater. Born in Polska Ostrawa, after 1919 named Śląska Ostrawa (Polish), Slezská Ostrava (Czech), or Silesian Ostrava (English), a district of the city of Ostrava, Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic (it became part of Czechoslovakia in 1919).
Kasprzycki learned to play the game of ice hockey in Czechoslovakia where he played for Vitkovice until 1935. While there he played under the name of "Medek". He then continued a season in Slavia Praha before moving to Poland. There he played for SKH Katowice (1936/37), Dab Katowice (1937-39), Cracovia (1945-49) and KTH Krynica (1949-52). Won the Polish league championships five times. Represented Poland 35 times.
Was part of the Polish September campaign in WW II as well as the French. Was interned in Switzerland and played ice hockey for Grasshoppers Zürich.

Ce bon patineur au sens tactique très développé apprit le jeu sous le prénom de "Medek" en Tchécoslovaquie car il est natif de "Polska Ostrawa", renommée Śląska Ostrawa (polonais), Slezská Ostrava (tchèque) ou Ostrava silésienne, c'est-à-dire un quartier de la ville d'Ostrava en Moravie, aujourd'hui en République tchèque et intégrée à la toute nouvelle Tchécoslovaquie formée en 1919 suite au Traité du Trianon.
Après avoir porté jusqu'à 25 ans le maillot du Vitkovice et celui du Slavia Prague pendant une saison, Kasprzycki retourna en Pologne, pays dont il détenait la citoyenneté, pour jouer au SKH Katowice (1936-1937), au Dab Katowice (1937-1939) et, après la guerre, au Cracovia Kraków (1945-1949) et au KTH Krynica (1949-1952). Cinq titres de champion de Pologne durant sa longue carrière, et 35 sélections pour l'équipe nationale de Pologne.
Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il combattit jusqu'à la reddition de la Pologne puis sur le front français. Réfugié en Suisse, il joua là-bas pour les Grasshoppers de Zurich.
