Older brother of David H. Jensen. Won the NCAA Championship in 1975 with Michigan Tech University. In 1975 he was drafted in the NHL by Chicago Blackhawks and in the WHA by Houston Aeros. Scored 71 (15+56) career points in 213 games. Retired in 1978.

Frère aîné de David H. Jensen, il eut une carrière encore plus courte que son cadet. Champion NCAA en 1975 avec Michigan Tech University et drafté dans la foulée par les Blackhawks en NHL puis par les Houston Aeros en WHA, il participe aux JO 1976 et arrête le hockey deux ans plus tard, à 23 ans, sur 71 points (15+56) en 213 petits matches uniquement au niveau universitaire.
