Began skating at the age of three. Hard working player who always gave 100% in games. Good goalscorer. Won the Hungarian league championship a total of 17 times as a player and trainer. Represented Hungary 86 times.
Earned a degree in psychology and an arts degree. Also studied in Bratislava, Slovakia in the early 1970s. Helped out as a fitness trainer on the Hungarian national team. Also worked in that function on the Hungarian national wrestling team. Went on to become a prominent and highly regarded teacher and trainer in Hungarian sport circles. Coached the Hungarian national team in 1970-72 and 1975.
Inducted into the Hungarian Hockey Hall of Fame.

Apprit à patiner alors qu'il savait à peine marcher. Joueur très travailleur, qui ne s'en laissait jamais compter, bon buteur. Dix-sept fois champion de Hongrie soit en tant que joueur, soit en tant qu'entraîneur. 86 sélections nationales.
Diplômé en psychologie et en arts, il fit une partie de ses études à Bratislava, au début des années 1970. Quelques passages en tant que préparateur physique des équipes nationales hongroises de hockey et de lutte, mais surtout sélectionneur principal de celle de hockey, entre 1970 et 1972, puis encore en 1975. Devint dans son pays un spécialiste très réputé dans le domaine des sciences du sport.
Introduit au Hall of Fame du hockey hongrois.
