His mother Janina Leszczyńska-Jajszczok was a Polish figure skating champion. Unspectacular defenseman who played for GKS Katowice, Zagłębie Sosnowiec, Kitzbühel (Austria) and EHC Esslingen (Germany). Four-time Polish league champion (1970, 1980, 1981, 1983) and three-time runner-up (1969, 1979, 1984). Also played in Austria for Kitzbühel and in Germany for EHC Esslingen.
Represented Poland 15 times. He was a graduate of the mining school in Katowice. After his hockey career he worked for a company that distributed cosmetics. Went on to live in the Katowice district of Bogucice.

Fils de Janina Leszczyńska-Jajszczok, championne de Pologne de patinage artistique. Kordian, lui, n'avait rien d'artistique puisqu'il fut un défenseur rugueux et efficace s'alignant successivement pour le GKS Katowice, le Zagłębie Sosnowiec, Kitzbühel (Autriche) et l'EHC Esslingen (Allemagne). Quatre fois champion de Pologne (1970, 1980, 1981, 1983), trois fois vice-champion (1969, 1979, 1984). 15 sélections nationales. Il a aussi joué en Autriche pour Kitzbühel et en Allemagne pour Esslingen.
Diplômé de l'école minière de Katowice, il se reconvertit loin du charbon et des crosses, puisqu'il fut embauché par une entreprise de distribution de cosmétique. Vécut dans le quartier de Bogucice, à Katowice.
