Slender and offensive-minded defenseman who wasn’t afraid to muck it up.
His parents emphasized the importance of education at an early age.
He passed up several offers for full scholarships in order to play professional ice hockey. Eventually scored 852 (227+625) career points in 1272 games.
Retired in 2002 after having spent the last seven years in Germany.
He applied to the MBA program at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, graduating in June 2005, landing a job with TD Bank, eventually moving on to Bay Street to work in credit derivatives.
Later served as VP and director of TD Securities.

A ensuite été vice-président et directeur de TD Securities.
