Had a long playing career that spanned almost 20 years.
He first learned to skate on his father’s flooded backyard rink.
Played his junior hockey in Saskatoon, but played the majority of his senior career for the Nelson Maple Leafs.
In 1961/62 he won the Howard Anderson Memorial Trophy as WIHL’s MVP and most Sportsmanlike player.
Was mainly a center, but could also play as a left wing.
Scored a total of 753 points (332+421) in 679 games. Retired in 1969.
In the early years of his career, he was employed at Sterling Home Furniture, eventually buying the business.
Was later involved in the Nelson real estate market for 30 years.

Il a d’abord appris à patiner dans l'arrière-cour mise en eau et en glace par son père.
Il a joué en junior à Saskatoon mais a passé la plupart de sa carrière pro pour les Maple Leafs de Nelson.
En 1961/62, il gagne le trophée Howard Anderson Memorial en tant que MVP de la WIHL et joueur le plus sportif.
Il jouait principalement au centre, mais pouvait aussi jouer ailier gauche.
753 (332+421) points marqués en 679 matchs. Retraité en 1969.
Au début de sa carrière, il était employé chez Sterling Home Furniture, puis a racheté l’entreprise.
Il a été impliqué dans le marché immobilier de Nelson pendant 30 ans.
