Born in Crossfield, AB but grew up in Port Arthur, ON.
Slick forward who filled in as an emergency player at the 1939 World Championships when Art Forrest had an appendectomy operation. Became a hockey coach later on.
Served as flying officer and flight instructor in WW II.
He was employed with Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company in Terrace Bay, ON.
Passed away after a lengthy illness in hospital.

Attaquant astucieux qui a servi de substitut d'urgence aux Mondiaux 1939 quand Art Forrest a été opéré de l'appendicite. Devenu coach de hockey.
Il a été pilote d'avion et instructeur de vol pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale.
Il a été employé par l'usine papetière Kimberly-Clark à Terrace Bay, dans l'Ontario.
Décédé d'une longue maladie à l'hôpital.
