Born from a Finnish father and a Swedish mother.
Known for his great attitude and mental strength to never give up.
Not a naturally talented player. Solid physical game and impressive skating ability.
Not afraid to do the dirty job in the corners and along the boards.
Drafted by Minnesota Wild (NHL) in 2002. Attended NHL training camp in 2003 and came back home after one season in AHL.
Won two gold medals the same year at the Olympic Games and at the World Championships in 2006. Retired in 2014.

Né d'un père finlandais et d'une mère suédoise.
Connu pour son excellente attitude à sa force mentale à ne jamais abandonner.
Ce n'est pas un joueur doué d'un talent naturel. Jeu physique solide et patinage impressionnant.
Il n'a pas peur de faire le sale boulot dans les coins et le long des bandes.
Drafté par le Minnesota Wild (NHL) en 2002. Il a participé à leur camp d'entraînement en 2003 mais est revenu en Suède après un an en AHL.
Un des huit joueurs à avoir remporté les Jeux olympiques et les championnats du monde la même année. Retraité en 2014.
