Known for his excellent rushes from his own zone.
He was brought up in the Berkshires and attended the Hallock School, founded by his father, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
At the start of WWII, Buzz entered the Air Corps as first lieutenant. Was an intelligence officer with the 315 Troop Carrier Group.
He saw service in seven European theater campaigns, for which his outfit received a Presidential unit citation. He held the rank of major when he left the service in 1945.
Published a hockey book titled 'How to Play And Understand The Game' together with Alexander Sayles, published in 1931 by A S Barnes and Co, New York. Worked as a banker.
He was vice president of Morgan Guaranty Trust, NYC, retiring in 1970, and associated with Cross & Brown, NYC, after his retirement.

Au démarrage de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, Buzz a intégré l'Armée de l'Air comme premier lieutenant. Il était officier de renseignements au 315e Groupe de transport de troupes.
Il a participé à plusieurs théâtres d'opérations en Europe, pour lesquels son unité a reçu une Presidential unit citation. Il portait le grade de major quand il a quitté le service fin 1945.
Il a publié un livre intitulé "How to Play And Understand The Game" (Comment jouer et comprendre le hockey) en collaboration avec Alexander Sayles, ouvrage publié en 1931 par A S Barnes and Co, New York. Il a travaillé comme banquier.
Il était vice-president du Morgan Guaranty Trust, à New York, prenant sa retraite en 1970, puis associé de Cross & Brown, toujours à New York, après sa retraite.
