Emerged as a talented junior player.
Small winger with an intensive hard working style of playing. Good shooter and skater. Only average defensively.
Won three Finnish league titles : 2004 et 2005 with Kärpät, 2011 with HIFK as playoffs top scorer.
Won the Aarne Honkavaara Award as the regular season’s top goal scorer in 2012/2013.
That same season he also won the Veli-Pekka Ketola Trophy as the best point producer.
His strong season earned him a spot on the World Championship team in 2013.
He first represented Finland on August 31, 2006 vs the Czech Republic.
Played a total of 32 games for Finland, scoring 11 points (6+5).

Il a émergé comme un junior très talentueux.
Petit ailier avec un style de jeu travailleur et intense. Bon tireur et bon patineur. Seulement moyen défensivement.
Trois fois champion de Finlande : 2004 et 2005 pour Kärpät, 2011 pour HIFK comme meilleur marqueur des play-offs.
Vainqueur du trophée Aarne Honkavaara de meilleur buteur de saison régulière en 2012/2013.
Cette même saison, il a aussi remporté le trophée Veli-Pekka Ketola de meilleur pointeur.
Cette forte saison lui a valu une place dans l'équipe finlandaise pour les Mondiaux 2013.
Il avait connu sa première sélection le 31 août 2006 contre la République tchèque.
