Was one of the greatest Danish ice hockey talents ever when he emerged as a junior. In 1995, he became the first player to win three titles the same year in Under 14 (scoring all five goals in the final), Under 16 and Under 18.
In 1999, he even managed within an interval of few months to be best goalscorer in the U18 and U20 Pool-B World Championships.
During the same season he also debuted in national team at only 17 years and 7 months, in Dunaújváros tournament, and scored two goals in his second game against the Netherlands.
Smooth skater with a strong stride and a fine playmaker. Above average technical skills and a crowdpleaser at times. Offensive-minded player able to play both as a center and a winger. Excellent at setting a great pace and transporting the puck.
A fixture on the Danish national team for almost 20 years, with 316 international games (Danish record) and 173 points (53+120).
Retired in 2017 and became a player agent. Met his future wife Malene in high school. They have two children.

Dès 1995, il est annoncé comme le meilleur espoir du pays en étant le premier joueur à remporter le titre de champion la même année en moins de 14 ans (il marque les cinq buts de la finale 5-1 contre Herning), moins de 16 ans et moins de 18 ans.
À quelques mois d'intervalle en 1998/99, il parvint à être meilleur buteur à la fois du Mondial B U20 et du Mondial B U18.
Cette même saison il a aussi débuté en équipe nationale sénior à seulement 17 ans et 7 mois, au tournoi de Dunaújváros, et marqué deux buts à son deuxième match contre les Pays-Bas.
Patineur facile avec une excellente glisse et une bonne lecture du jeu. Ses dons techniques au-dessus de la moyenne l'incitaient parfois à faire le petit geste spectaculaire qui plaisait au public. Attaquant offensif, à la fois au centre et à l'aile droite. Donnait de la vitesse aux attaques grâce à sa maîtrise du palet.
Recordman des sélections en équipe du Danemark (316) avec 173 points (53+120).
À sa retraite fin 2017, il est devenu agent de joueurs. Il a rencontré sa future femme Malene au lycée. Ils ont deux enfants.
