A product of the Riga hockey school. Started skating at three.
Decently-sized winger and a good skater like many Latvians. He likes to block shots.
Good puck protection. Good on-ice vision. Decent shot. Lacks consistency.
Began his Dinamo Riga (KHL) career on a line with Oskars Batņa and Gints Meija.
Youngest Latvian player at the 2019 World Championships.

Produit de l'école de hockey (SK) de Riga. Il a commencé à patiner à trois ans.
Ailier de bon gabarit (184 cm, 86 kg) et bon patineur comme beaucoup de Lettons. Il aime bloquer les tirs.
Il protège bien son palet et lit bien le jeu. Son tir est correct mais il manque de constance.
Il a commencé sa carrière au Dinamo Riga sur une ligne avec Oskars Batņa et Gints Meija.
Plus jeune joueur letton aux championnats du monde 2019. Il aime la nature et les sports en général.
