Liked to be active around the goal, and often skated out to stop pucks.
A type of goaltender who relied heavily on his fast reflexes.
A Yunost Minsk product who then began to play for Dinamo Minsk as a senior in the early 1980s.
Won four league titles in Belarus (1993, 1994, 1995, 2000) and one title in Poland (1997).
Retired in 2003 after having spent the last four years of his career playing in the fourth German division.
Became an ice hockey coach in Belarusian league, with Brest (from 2008 to 2015 with his son Aliaksei in defence), then with Zhlobin.

Un type de gardien qui comptait énormément sur ses réflexes rapides.
Il aimait être actif autour du but et sortait parfois de sa cage pour stopper le palet.
Un pur produit du Yunost Minsk qui a commencé à jouer au Dynamo Minsk en tant que pro au début des années 1980.
Quatre fois champion de Biélorussie (1993, 1994, 1995, 2000) et une fois champion de Pologne (1997).
Retraité en 2003 après avoir passé les 4 dernières années de sa carrière en quatrième division allemande.
Devenu coach dans le championnat biélorusse, pendant 7 ans à Brest de 2008 à 2015 (avec son fils Aiaksei en défense) puis à Zhlobin.
