Younger brother of Dariusz Garbocz. He followed in his footsteps and started playing ice hockey at the age of 5.
First played with the Polish national team at the age of 19 and played in Sweden during three years. 179 games with Poland.
Four-time Polish champion with Unią Oświęcim from 1998 to 2001 and four-time Cup winner (2000, then 2007 to 2009 with Tychy).
Played six years in French elite league with Anglet and loved the Basque region. He came back to finish his career there as an amateur in 2013.

Centre avec une bonne lecture du jeu. Passes lumineuses et bon jeu défensif. Il a perdu en vitesse en fin de carrière.
Petit frère de Dariusz Garbocz, il a poursuivi la tradition familiale et commencé le hockey à 5 ans.
Il a débuté en équipe de Pologne à 19 ans alors qu'il jouait en Suède pendant trois saisons. 179 sélections en équipe nationale.
4 fois champion de Pologne avec l'Unią Oświęcim de 1998 à 2001 et 4 fois vainqueur de la Coupe (2000, puis 2007 à 2009 avec Tychy).
Il a joué six saisons dans l'élite française avec Anglet et a adoré le Pays Basque. Il est revenu finir sa carrière à l'Hormadi comme amateur en 2013.
