Father of Sam Gagner. Quick and resilient player who worked hard during games.
He could score from anywhere on the ice from the tops of the circles down.
Excellent balance and agility. Solid forechecker and also had a quick wristshot.
Underrated playmaker. Retired in 1999. In March, 2000, he founded Custom Ice Rinks, Inc., a company that manufactured permanent and portable ice skating rinks.
Also coached and worked as a Director of Player Development in ice hockey.
