Small but speedy Canadian-Italian player with a great scoring touch. Inconsistent at times. High scoring player in the QMJHL as a junior, a time during which he was coached by Pat Burns. Formed a dangerous tandem with Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille for Hull Olympiques.
Gained an Italian passport and made his debut for Italy in 1989 against Finland (3-4). Scored 929 (392+537) career points in 542 games. An injury ended his playing career prematurely in 1993.

Centre petit et rapide, ce Canadien d'origine italienne possédait le flair du buteur malgré l'irrégularité notoire de ses perfs. De belles stats en junior, chez les Olympiques de Hull (LHJMQ), où il fut entraîné par Pat Burns et forma une paire redoutée avec Luc Robitaille.
Ne fit pas le saut vers la NHL, acquit son passeport italien à 23 ans et fut très vite intégré à l'équipe d'Italie dont il endossa le maillot pour la première fois en 1989, contre la Finlande (défaite 3-4). 929 points (392+537) en 542 matches d'une carrière achevée prématurément, sur blessure, en 1993.
