Football was the major sport in his family. At 2 he got stuck in front of an Olympic ice hockey game shown on TV and his parents put him on skates at 3.
A bit undersized but technical and irrational player with a temper. Good skater with a quick wrist shot.
Learned to play hockey in his hometown of Caen. Moved abroad to play in 2010. Played in Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Germany and China (KHL).
Best goalscorer in the history of French national team in elite World Championships (22 goals).

Le football était le sport de référence dans sa famille, mais il est resté scotché devant un match de hockey des JO à la télé à 2 ans et ses parents l'ont inscrit à l'école de glace à 3 ans.
Joueur de gabarit modeste mais bonne technique alliée à un patinage puissant et un redoutable tir du poignet, décoché notamment après un petit crochet latéral pour sa "spéciale". Caractère lunatique.
A fait ses armes de hockeyeur à Caen de s'affirmer à Grenoble et faire partie d'une vague de joueurs français voyageurs. Il a fréquenté la Suède, la Suisse, la Finlande, l'Allemagne et même la Chine (en KHL).
Meilleur buteur de l'histoire de l'équipe de France en championnat du monde élite (22 buts).
