Born in Toronto, but grew up in King City, ON, with his parents and three older sisters.
Solid puck-moving defenseman. Very poised and polished. Able to log a lot of ice time.
Calm in pressure situations. Good at fending off opposing forwards. Not a natural point producer.
A bit undersized for an NHL-defenseman. Due to his size he always had to work hard to defend his space around the goal and in the corners.
Helped Canada to win a gold medal at the 2021 World Championships.

Né à Toronto, il a grandi dans une autre ville de l'Ontario, King City, avec ses parents et trois grandes sœurs.
Défenseur sûr avec le palet, très affûté et soigneux. Capable de prendre beaucoup de temps de glace.
Calme sous la pression. Bon pour repousser les attaquants adverses. Pas un pointeur naturel.
Un peu petit pour un défenseur de NHL (180 cm, 84 kg), il a toujours dû travailler dur pour défendre son enclave et les coins.
Il a aidé le Canada à remporter la médaille d'or aux championnats du monde 2021.
