Born in the Stockholm suburb of Nacka. Offensively skilled defenseman with good skating abilities. Solid shot. Often used on the powerplay. Not very big or physical. Good at reading plays. Sometimes a bit sloppy when starting plays from his own zone.
A bit of a late bloomer, he only made it to the highest Swedish League (SHL) aged 29.
