Began playing for Lerum BK and already as an 11-year old he was playing against boys aged 16. His hockey heroes growing up were Peter Forsberg and Sergei Fedorov.
Excellent offensive instincts and a goal-scorer's touch with an accurate shot.
Also decent as a playmaker, thanks to excellent stickhandling ability. Good defensively.
A bit weaker physically. Somewhat passive in all three zones.
Won the Elitserien Rookie of the Year Award in 2004. World champion in 2013.
