Uncle of Don Edwards. First played organized hockey with the Caledonia Juvenile B team.
Was later scouted by the Chicago Blackhawks. Later drafted by Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1967 NHL-expansion draft.
A standup goalie who played the angles well. He was also good at clearing the puck away from his net. Very quick catching glove.
Steady and dependable goaltender. Following a head injury he became the first goalie to play with a piece of helmet attached to the back of the mask.
Retired in 1993 from his cabinet making business.
NHL totals: 236 games and 2.92 GAA.

Oncle de Don Edwards. Il a d'abord joué au hockey organisé avec l'équipe Juvenile B de Caledonia.
Il a ensuite été repéré par les Chicago Blackhawks, puis choisi par les Pittsburgh Penguins à la draft d'expansion NHL de 1967.
Un gardien au style debout qui jouait bien les angles. Il était aussi bon pour dégager le palet loin de son but. Mitaine d'attrape très rapide.
Gardien fiable. À la suite d'une blessure à la tête, il est devenu le premier gardien à jouer avec une portion de casque attachée à l'arrière de son masque.
Retraité en 1993 de son cabinet d'affaires.
Totaux NHL : 236 parties et 2,92 buts encaissés de moyenne.
