Older brother of Ragnar Edvardsen who also played on the national team.
Had further five brothers and one sister. Also played as a center.
Began playing bandy hockey before shifting to ice hockey.
Norwegian bandy champion in 1934. His club Grane started ice hockey in 1935 and became champion in 1936, 1937, 1939 and 1940.
Good skater but did not have the best shot. Played until the late 1940s.

Frère aîné de Ragnar Edvardsen qui a aussi joué en équipe nationale.
Il avait cinq autres frères et une soeur. Il a aussi joué au centre.
Il a commencé par le bandy avant de passer au hockey sur glace.
Champion de Norvège au bandy en 1934. Son club Grane a commencé le hockey sur glace en 1935 et est devenu champion en 1936, 1937, 1939 et 1940.
Bon patineur mais il n'avait pas le meilleur tir. Il a joué jusqu'à la fin des années 1940.
