Was the youngest member of the 1952 Canadian Olympic team.
He got his start in ice hockey with the Edmonton Athletic Club (EdmJHL), playing there until 1949. He later played for Medicine Hat Tigers and Edmonton Oil Kings.
His performance was so impressive that he earned a ticket to the Olympics with the Edmonton Mercurys. He played equally well as a center and right wing, alternating between these positions.
Later moved to the United States and played for University of Denver in the mid-1950s. He eventually settled down in Littleton, Colorado. Became a hockey coach after his playing career.

Il a commencé le hockey avec l'Edmonton Athletic Club (EdmJHL) où il a joué jusqu'en 1949. Il a ensuite joué pour les Medicine Hat Tigers et les Edmonton Oil Kings.
Sa performance était si impressionnante qu'elle lui a valu un ticket olympique avec les Edmonton Mercurys. Il jouait tout aussi bien au centre et à l'aile droite, alternant entre ces positions.
Il a ensuite déménagé aux États-Unis et a joué pour l'Université de Denver au milieu des années 50. Il s'est finalement installé à Littleton, dans le Colorado, et est devenu entraîneur après sa carrière de joueur.
