Son of an Italian born father and New York born mother (with Italian parents).
Attended Wakefield High School and was a very good (American) football player.
Had an 85-yard fumble recovery and return for a touchdown in one of the games.
Played for University of New Hampshire.
In hockey he was known for his beautiful offensive rushes from his left side.
In the 1930s he coached the Wakefield High School.
Worked at the Federal Loan and Savings Bank in Boston.
Dagnino was a lifelong Boston Bruins fan, going all the way back to 1924/25.
When legendary Bruin, Dit Clapper retired in 1947, it was Dagnino who was the treasurer of a committee that presented Clapper with a Scroll, Silver and Bonds, given by fans.
He worked as a timekeeper at Boston Garden in the late 1940s.
Resided in Mirror Lake, New Hampshire during his last years. Avid golfer (scratch golfer).

Dagnino a été toute sa vie un fan des Boston Bruins, depuis 1924/25.
Quand Dit Clapper, joueur légendaire des Bruins, a pris sa retraite en 1947, c'est Dagnino qui était trésorier du comité de supporters qui a offert à Clapper un bijou en argent.
Il a travaillé comme chronométreur du Boston Garden à la fin des années 1940.
Résidait à Mirror Lake, New Hampshire, durant ces dernières années. Passionné de golf (golfeur-scractch).
