Was also a great football player who made his league debut at the age of 18, playing for Czarni Lwów (today Lviv in Ukraine). He represented Poland seven times in football. In 1932 he graduated from the Central Institute of Physical Education.
He played ice hockey for Czarni Lwów and later Dinamo Lwów. Nicknamed "Mucha" (The Fly) because of his small stature (about 5'5"–165cm).
After World War II he came to Łódź Sports Club, after that he came to Gdansk, where he began working as a clerk in the Office of Physical Culture. In Łódź he made his last appearance on a football pitch on March 14, 1948, thus ending the game 19 years after his debut in the league.
He continued for a career in ice hockey playing for ŁKS Łódź and Partizan Bydgoszcz. He was known to be an avid sportsman, practicing handball, basketball, tennis, athletics, skiing, and even tobogganing.
After his active playing career he coached Pogon Szczecin (1953 and 1962-63), Arkonia Szczecin, Sleza Wroclaw, Pafawag and Slaska Wroclaw (1960).
In 1956, he graduated from the Wroclaw University of Physical Education. Then worked as a teacher at the university and was also a member of the Polish Ice Hockey Association. Also gave coaching seminars for the Polish Football Association.

D'abord connu pour sa carrière de footballeur qu'il débuta à 18 ans sous les couleurs du Czarni Lwów (ville aujourd'hui nommée Lviv en Ukraine). Sept sélections internationales pour l'équipe polonaise de foot. Diplômé en 1932 de l'Institut central polonais d'Education physique.
Se mit au hockey également avec la vareuse du Czarni Lwów, plus tard renommé Dinamo Lwów. On lui donna le sobriquet de "Mucha" ("la mouche") en référence à son 1,65m.
Agé de 35 ans la fin de la Deuxième guerre mondiale, il s'affilie au Łódź Sports Club. pour lequel il jouera son tout dernier match de foot le 14 mars 1948, à 37 ans, 19 ans après son premier.
Pourra se consacrer entièrement au hockey sur glace avec le ŁKS Łódź et le Partizan Bydgoszcz. Ses multiples dons sportifs étaient connus : il jouait au hand, au basket, au tennis, pratiquait l'athlétisme, le ski... S'installera plus tard à Gdansk, où il sera employé comme agent du Bureau d'Éducation physique.
Quand il mit enfin un terme à sa carrière de joueur multisports, il se fit entraîneur de hockey. Du Pogon Szczecin (1953 and 1962-63), de l'Arkonia Szczecin, du Sleza Wrocław, de Pafawag et du Slask Wrocław (1960).
En 1956, il accumula un diplôme supplémentaire, celui d'Éducation physique remis par l'Université de Wrocław. Se fit alors prof de fac en la matière puis conseiller des fédérations polonaises de hockey et de foot.
