Après une première moitié de carrière chez lui, en Pologne et à Bytom, il part en Allemagne où il passera treize saisons dans les niveaux inférieurs, inscrivant là-bas 428 points en 490 matches. Annonce une première retraite en 2008, revient brièvement peu après (à 43 ans tout de même) et arrête définitivement en 2010.
