Technically wellrounded player, also good at football. Dangerous and smart around the goal in the offensive zone. Represented Poland 43 times (15 goals). Played 234 games in the Polish League and scored 31 goals.
Left Poland in 1958 during a tour with his Legia team in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Played ten years for Preussen Krefeld in West Germany (1959-1969). He played 194 games and scored 106 (68+38) points during his years in Krefeld.
Passed away of a heart attack.

Centre sans faille technique, il se distinguait aussi en football. Danger permanent, perspicace devant le but. 43 sélections nationales pour la Pologne (15 buts), 234 matches en championnat de Pologne (31 buts).
Fait défection en 1958 lors d'une tournée du Legia à Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Sa carrière internationale s'arrêta net mais il continua dix ans en club avec Preussen Krefeld. Entre 1959 et 1969, il prit part pour eux à 194 matches et posta 106 points (68+38).
Décédé prématurément d'une attaque cardiaque.
