Stocky right wing. Won the Memorial Cup in 1952 and Allan Cup in 1960. Spent his last nine years playing for Chatham Maroons. Had good chemistry with notorious scorer Ted Power.
Was a religious man and did not play any hockey on Sundays. Scored 757 (397+360) career points in 602 games, winning a couple of goal scoring titles. Retired in 1963.

Ailier droit râblé doté d'un beau palmarès en amateurs : Coupe Memorial en 1952 et Coupe Allan en 1960. Passa neuf ans (1954-1963) chez les Chatham Maroons où il s'entendait comme larrons en foire avec le fameux buteur Ted Power.
Très dévot, il ne jouait jamais le dimanche. Ne marqua donc "que" 757 points (397+360) en 602 matches, ce qui lui valut tout de même une paire de trophées de meilleur pointeur. Rangea les patins en 1963.
