Spent five years of junior hockey split between the Kitchener Greenshirts and the Toronto Marlboros, before turning pro and playing in the AHL. Had a brief two game appearance in the NHL playoffs.
Hung up his skates in 1963 and took the coaching reigns of the Trail Smoke Eaters. After one year of coaching he went on to play professional baseball.
Returned to the ice in 1965 with the Galt Hornets, followed by two years with Collingwood before retiring again in 1968, this time for good.

Passa ses cinq années de hockey juvénile et junior entre les Kitchener Greenshirts et les Toronto Marlboros, avant de décrocher un contrat pro en AHL. Il fera même deux courtes apparitions en playoffs NHL avec les Maple Leafs.
Prend une première retraite de hockeyeur en 1963 pour passer derrière le banc des Trail Smoke Eaters. À seulement 28 ans ! Il s'ennuie vite et retourne jouer un an plus tard, mais au base-ball professionnel.
Plutôt versatile, on le retrouve sur glace en 1965 chez les Galt Hornets, qu'il quitte en faveur de Collingwood où il passe deux saisons. En 1968, il arrête définitivement ses activités sportives.
Aucun point inscrit en deux parties de NHL.
