Talented defenseman who represented Poland 17 times. He was good at covering his man and had good shot. He also liked to join the offensive rushes from time to time. Played 177 league games, scoring 34 goals.
Mostly played for Nowy Targ but also for CWKS Bydgoszcz during his military service.
Retired in 1966. Became a hockey coach and coached the Polish national team between 1970-73 with Anatoli Yegorov. Died of congestion.

Défenseur de bon niveau, 17 sélections nationales. Neutralisait efficacement son vis-à-vis. Se joignait parfois aux offensives où il faisait valoir son tir dangereux.
Passa l'essentiel de sa carrière de joueur à Nowy Targ mais défendit les couleurs du CWKS Bydgoszcz pendant son service militaire.
Arrête en 1966, à 32 ans. Devient alors entraîneur. S'occupera de la sélection nationale entre 1970 et 1973 en compagnie d'Anatoli Yegorov. Mourut d'une embolie à 46 ans.
