Was also a speedskater and participated in that sport during the 1926 European Championships. Belgian speedskating champion in 1925.
He was an engineer.
Married an English born girl (Lamond Hélène Wilhelmine b.1908) in 1927 and they had three children together (Peter Eugeen b.1930, Jacques Roger b.1932 and Roger Eugène André b.1934).
He was in the army and was arrested in Bagnères-de-Luchon near the French-Spanish border on April 21, 1944.
Died in a German prison camp in April 1945 after a lengthy torture. His widow eventually moved back to England.

Il était ingénieur. Il était également patineur de vitesse et participa dans ce sport aux Championnats d'Europe de 1926.
Champion de Belgique de patinage de vitesse en 1925 en remportant trois courses sur quatre (500, 1000 et 5000 mètres).
Le 30 novembre 1927, il épousa une Anglaise (Lamond Hélène Wilhelmine née en 1908) et fit son voyage de noces sur la Côte d'Azur.
Le couple eut trois enfants : Peter Eugeen né en 1930, Jacques Roger né en 1932 et Roger Eugène André né en 1934.
Alors dans l'armée, il fut arrêté à Bagnères-de-Luchon près de la frontière franco-espagnole le 21 avril 1944.
Emprisonné en Allemagne où il mourut dans un camp en avril 1945 après de longues tortures. Sa veuve retourna vivre en Angleterre.
