Dual Canadian and Swiss citizen. Creative player with good skating.
Established a record in 1969 for the most goals scored at the Tournoi international de hockey pee-wee de Québec, with 24.
His record still stood more than 50 years later, despite the fact that several future stellar Hall of Famers such as Mario Lemieux or Wayne Gretzky played in the tournament.
Scored more than 1000 career points in little over 800 games.
Retired in 2001 at the age of 45 and became a physical education teacher in Arthabaska, QC.
Later coached his old team HC Villars in the lower Swiss leagues.
Passed away after a lengthy illness.
