His last name is commonly misspelled as „Booten“.
His father was born in Wisconsin and his paternal line went back to Virginia for generations.
His earliest known paternal ancestor was Thomas Broughton born in France ca1650.
Another line was traced back to 1510 and Suffolk, England, and another one to Wales.
His mother was born in Horsens, Denmark, coming from a line of Danish born family members.
Lowell was born in North Dakota (White Bear), but lived in St.Paul, MN already as an infant.
Went to Albany High School and Mann school. Was a World War II veteran.
Played for St.Paul Tallys and St.Paul Koppys in the late 1940s.
Buried at Fort Logan National Cemetary in Denver, CO.

Lowell est né dans le Dakota du Nord (à White Bear), mais il vécut St.Paul dans le Minnesota depuis son plus jeune âge.
Il alla au lycée Albany puis à l'école Mann. Il fut vétéran de la seconde guerre mondiale.
Il joua pour St.Paul Tallys et St.Paul Koppys à la fin des années 1940.
Il est enterré au cimetière national Fort Logan de Denver, dans le Colorado.
