Was a high draft pick in the NHL and was seen as a potential franchise player.
Mentally strong goaltender that rarely got rattled in goal. Played with a butterfly style.
Was extremely poised already at a young age. Confident and agile goaltender.
Good size but a bit rangy. His younger brother Mathieu was an NHL-defenseman.
Announced his retirement on October 22, 2013. Went on to work as an analyst on the TSN panel. Also an occasional studio commentator for Sabres and Islanders broadcasts on MSG.

Il était haut placé dans la draft NHL et a été considéré comme un possible joueur d'une unique franchise.
Gardien fort mentalement qui était rarement chahuté dans les buts. Joué en style papillon.
Il avait déjà un excellent équilibre en étant jeune. Gardien confiant et agile.
Un bon gabarit mais un peu rond. Son petit frère Mathieu a été défenseur en NHL.
